Year 7 students made their own weapons as a project forming part of the Tudor Times unit in History this term. This week, students were treated to a special weapons demonstration and information session with local weapons expert, Mr Wilton. The students created axes, swords, shields, bows and arrows, maces and morning stars. Having been shown how best to use the different styles of weapon in a battle context, students worked in pairs to recreate a slow-motion enactment, fighting Tudor-style.
