Mock Elections

Latest News at Hayle Community School

8th June 2017

With the day of the General Election finally upon us, a mock election was organised in the main foyer with a mini polling station and ballot boxes, to see who the students thought should be leading the country.

A large number of students took the time to vote and let their voice be heard. It was great to see the students debating their choices amongst themselves and engaging with the staff members who had organised the event.

The results revealed that 63.29% of the voters voted for Labour, with Conservatives coming in second with 16.43%.
