We are delighted to report that our student’s examination results have continued to improve with the key headline figure increasing this summer by 7% to a very pleasing 59%.  This figure represents those students who gained, on first entry, 5 or more A* – C grades including English and mathematics.

This is the fourth year in a row that results have continued to rise and speaks highly of our student’s work commitment, good quality teaching and our positive ‘can do’ learning ethos.  We really do encourage our students to Be the Best They Can Be.

Why are our students results improving? At Hayle we are committed to ensuring the development of the whole child and we are very proud that last year no student left without moving on to employment, education or training. We focus our effors on what is happening in the classroom and we work hard to ensure that all students make or exceed expected outcomes.

Our size, not too small and not too large, means we can easily give students individual and highly personalised support.

Working with parents / guardians we think these are the factors helping us all to continually improve.
